Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
LeagueCityChristmasLights.com ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or submit the quote request form, how we use it, where it goes, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you submit the quote request form, we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email address, the service you're interested in, and anything you add in the message field. We only ask for a phone number because we actually call: a design consultation is scheduled by phone or email.
Information collected automatically
When the form is submitted, our server also records the date and time, the page the form was on, your IP address, and your browser's identifying string ("user agent"). These are stored with your request as our record that it came from a real browser session, and they help us stop automated spam. Your IP address is stored as sent — the spam filter keeps a separate, scrambled copy to count requests per connection, but that does not make the stored copy anonymous.
Website analytics (Google Analytics)
If you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, this site uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived (for example, from a search engine), the type of device and browser, approximate location such as city or region, whether a quote request was sent, and whether a phone number on the site was tapped. Google receives your IP address in order to provide this service. We use this only to improve the website; we don't use it for advertising, and the quote request and phone-tap events we record contain no personal details about you.
If you choose "Necessary Only", or never make a choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google. Even after you accept, it only starts once you scroll, tap or type on a page, or after a few seconds. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy), and you can also block Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
This site does not use any advertising tools, and no other third-party scripts run on it.
How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request and follow up about scheduling a consultation
- To communicate with you about your service or appointment
- To keep a record of your request and your agreement to be contacted
- To comply with legal obligations, where applicable
We do not sell your personal information.
Where your request goes
A quote request is saved to a private log on our web server and then emailed to the business owner's inbox. A copy is also sent to the web developer who maintains this website, so that a delivery problem can be caught and fixed. Both copies are used only to respond to your request. We don't share your information with anyone else except as necessary to provide our services (for example, email delivery), to comply with the law, or to protect our rights.
How long we keep it
Quote request records are kept for five years from the date of submission, as the record of your consent to be contacted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Cookies
This site sets two small cookies of its own, and two more only if you accept analytics:
lcclsess— a temporary session cookie, set on pages that carry the quote form, which lets the form confirm that a submission came from this website and not from an automated script. It expires when you close your browser and contains no personal information.cookie_consent— remembers your choice on the cookie banner ("Accept" or "Necessary Only") for one year, so we don't ask again. It doesn't track you or get shared with anyone._gaand_ga_M0KYQ365QN— set by Google Analytics only after you choose "Accept". They let Google Analytics tell one visit from the next without identifying you by name, and they last up to two years. Choosing "Necessary Only" later through Cookie Preferences removes them and stops collection.
You can change your banner choice at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" button in the footer of any page, or control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling the session cookie will prevent the quote form from sending — you can always call us instead.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information you share with us, including serving this site over HTTPS and keeping request records in a folder that cannot be reached from the web. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
Your choices
You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have on file for you, to correct it, to ask us not to contact you further, or to request that we delete it, subject to any recordkeeping obligations we may have. Call (832) 221-9269 or use the quote form and say what you'd like done — a real person reads every request.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
