Kemah calls itself the Gateway to the Bay: a former fishing village that's now the third-largest boating center in the country, built around the 60-acre Kemah Boardwalk and its 400-slip marina. A palm at a business near the Boardwalk, at a Waterford Harbor entrance or on a home with a direct water view is seen from boats on Clear Creek Channel as much as from the street, so we plan the wrap for both angles.

During the Boardwalk's Christmas Boat Parade, hundreds of decorated boats pass through Clear Creek Channel, and homes visible from the water are seen from an angle most residential lighting isn't designed for. Waterford Harbor, a gated, marina-front community dating to 1994, also needs access arranged in advance, so we coordinate entry before install day rather than arriving unannounced at the gate.

The town's name comes from a Karankawa word meaning “facing the winds,” and palms on open waterfront lots catch plenty of it. If a strand shifts in the wind mid-season, in-season maintenance is included and we fix it at no charge.
