Palms on the water where the Boat Parade starts
South Shore Harbour Marina, inside League City, is one of the two launch points for the Clear Lake Christmas Boat Parade, which draws more than 100,000 spectators each December. A palm at a marina-side entrance or on a lakefront lot here is seen from the water by an unusually large crowd, so we plan the wrap for how it reads from a boat as well as from the street.
Inland, the picture changes. Neighborhoods like Victory Lakes sit well back from the water, and many League City communities have HOA guidelines for exterior decoration. Because we're based in League City, those rules are usually familiar to us before the consultation starts, and a palm design is checked against them up front rather than after the lights are on the tree.
Timing matters here too. Holiday in the Park ends with the Grand Night Parade, widely regarded as the largest holiday parade in Galveston County, and the city's Community Lights Showcase later in December recognizes standout home displays. A seasonal palm wrap is usually planned to be up well before both; a permanent, app-controlled system simply switches to its Christmas colors when you're ready.
